Wishing you a lovely day with little Posey
Today I want to show you a card that I made in some very bold colours.
The image that I used is called Posey and she is available from Wee Stamps as a digi and a rubber stamp. I think she's such a cheerful thing and for me that meant she had to be colored in bright bold colors, that's why I used the red, orange and yellow. And when I was busy coloring here I decided I wanted a big contrast color so that's where the black came in.
A close up of little Posey, as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced for extra dimension and she's got a ton of stickles on her and some liquid pearls on her antenna's and around her.
I matched the colors of the coloring and papers with some gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers :). I don't own any black flowers yet (something I decided I needed for my next order) but since I already used lots of black in the cardstock and the pearls I thought these bright colored and pretty white flowers were a gorgeous contrast to that black and even though there is plenty of black ont he card the flowers still make sure the end result is warm and cheerful I think.
As I type this it's a rainy day here in The Netherlands but I feel this card brings in a little sunshine. Hope you like it!! Have a great day everybody!!
Hugs,

Teachers gifts
These are two of the three boxes I made holding 8 "Merci" chocolates per box. The box was a template that I bought from a Dutch website that sells templates. There were two PDF files that I printed on cardstock and design paper, cut, put together and decorated. If anybody wants a link to the template just let me know in the comments please and I'll give it to you.
The adorable image is by Whipper Snapper Designs and she's named "Little girl with dotted present". I colored her three times in the same way with my Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced her. The ribbon that ties the two sides of the box together used to be available from Wild Orchid Crafts but is no longer available.
On the other side of the box I added some pretty roses and leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts. There isn't much room to decorate on this box but can't make a gift without some flowers on them.
I packed all three boxes in cellophane wrapping foil and decorated that with again the bright pink ribbon and brads and blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I hope you like my little presents for my kids teachers. I'll leave you with a list of Wild Orchid Crafts products used.

Girly For You
The card I'm showing you today will be on my personal blog later today as I'm taking part in a blog hop to celebrate the release of the image which is part of a whole new line of rubber stamps, but I got permission to show it already here on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog.
The pretty stamp that I've used is called For You and she's been drawn by MiRan for Whimsy Stamps. Since she's really girly I decided to go all girly on this one. So pretty pink and creamy flowers, pearly stars, lovely pink seam binding... just what I love to use!
A close up of the image, as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced. I've added some yummie stickles here and there and some gloss to the balloons.
Mixed Pink Carnation
Mixed Earth tone Wild Roses 30mm
Mixed Pink/White Cosmos Daisy Stem Flowers
Deep Ivory Sweetheart Blossoms
Baby Pink Sweetheart Blossoms

Gift box with Rowan Fairy in autumn colors
Back with another project to show you. It may look like a card but it is actually the top of an altered cigar box.
When I first saw the image I've worked with for todays project, The Rowan Fairy by Wee Stamps (available in digi and in rubber), I knew I had to color her in autumn colors as the rowan tree has gorgeous colored leaves in that season.
As always I colored the image with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced her. Then I checked my stash of design papers and decided on the Walking in the Forest line by Maja Design as one of the papers even had leaves and berries of the rowan tree on it. Since these are colors I don't work with often I had to add some gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts goodies to my stash. I found that the Earth Tone flowers are absolutely perfect for autumn projects, especially combined with orange and deep red and in the selection of mixed Mulberry paper leaves that Wild Orchid Crafts offers there are these gorgeous green leaves in two sizes which also have some coloring in them at the tips.
These are all the Wild Orchid Crafts products I ended up using:
Deep Red Self Adhesive Rhinestones
Mixed Earth Tone Wild Roses 30mm
Deep Red Open Roses 20mm
Mixed Peach/Orange Open Roses 15mm
Mixed Earth Tone Open Roses 15mm
Mixed Earth Tone Hip Rosebuds
Mixed Mulberry Paper Leaves for Crafts
