When spring awakes

Hello dear Wild Orchid Crafts friends!

It's Aleksandra again with you today and I'm back with my new project for you, to get you inspired and to get your crafting mojo on. :)

I have to tell you I can not wait for the spring to come. I so much enjoy the warmth of the first spring sunshine, the smell and colorful play of the blossoming flowers, the joyous singing of birds, the nature bursting and awakening in all her glory. Are you the same? This off the page project - box with a blossoming birdcage, took me on the springtime walk for a moment. I enjoyed it so much and I hope you will too.

I used several Wild Orchid Crafts gorgeous flowers for this box. You can get yours and much more at the Wild Orchid Crafts webshop. Here are the links to the ones I used today:

Thank you so much for joining me today and have a great and warm rest of the day!

Sweet baby card.

Hi everyone!

It's me, Cathrine here to show you my latest card that I made. It's a sweet baby birthday card. I really enjoyed making this one, and I have been using lot's of paper and fabric/laces layers to complete my card. I wanted my card to have a soft feeling, so I used flowers from Wild Orcid Crafts in only white tones. I hope you like it :-)

Thank you for stopping by! Have a nice day :-)

''Make a wish''

Hi gang!

Nice to see you again. I can't wait to show you my second layout for WOC.

I played with ink and gesso on my background to decrease the intensity of the thorough color to highlight my work with my flowers.

I wanted to create an effect of fallen again with flowers and I also used some ink to give the illusion that colors of the latter run away from delicately.

some closes up:

You can find all the flowers on WOC WEBSITE

my products list I used:

NAVY BLUE OPEN ROSES- 15mm (MKX-022-15mm)
100 GREEN ROSE LEAVES- 25mm (MKX-249)

thanks and have a nicy day

Sisters - Layout by Yasmin Tölche

Hello all Wild Ochid fans! It's Yasmin here today on the blog and I have a layout to share with you.

These are my sisters, way back when I was young.. hahaha.. Well.. The picture is about 15-16years old I guess and just a fun memory to scrapbook, because that's what it's all about isn't it?

So I did a bit of mixed media on the background like adding modeling paste, mists and some stamping. I embellished with lovely Wild Orchid Flowers and some other items. I kept the colors in purple, torquoise and grey. Love this combination.

I used some of the white open roses and some Pretty Flori - Anemone flowers and adding a soda can opener just for fun.

I added some large magnolias, anemone and roses to my project. The flowers are really good quality flowers and perfect for any project.
