Daphne and Daffodils!!

Hello, everyone and a Happy Sunday to you!! We are so happy to welcome you to the blog where we show you how we use the gorgeous products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop.

For my card today I used the absolutely precious Wee Stamps image, Daphne, designed by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps. Isn't that little darling the sweetest thing, bringing spring/summer joy with her daffodil! She was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding touches of Prisma Glitter for her wings and Wink of Stella to the daffodil. The base and double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics paper pad. For the horizontal I used some Natural Cotton Lace from Wild Orchid Crafts topped with PTI satin lace tied into a double flat bow. The sentiment is from the NEW Life's Moments sentiment set designed by Simonne Clay of SC Designs for Whimsy Stamps. The sentiment was cut out using the new and gorgeous NEW Fancy Label Die. The card was finished with some WOC Self-Adhesive Pearls,  DaffodilsMulberry Leaves, and Decorative Metal Corner.

Thanks so much for your visit!! Have a beautiful week!! Big hugs from Jacque!!

Fabulous, Wonderful Friend Canister

A very Happy Day to everyone!! We are so happy to see that you have visited us today to see how we have used some of the lovely products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop.

I have made a LITTLE gift container to hold some butter mints for a friend. The pictures are a little misleading because the canister is no more than 2.5 inches (6 cm) tall. And I apologize for my photography skills but in real life all of the pinks are the same color but I can't get them to photograph as the same color...sigh...

I used a clear plastic container and covered it with DP from the Maja Sofiero collection. For the side I also used Flat-Back Pearl String, some pre-pleated trim from my stash, Vintage Seam Binding tied into double bows to anchor a couple of heart charms from the Mixed Heart Charm Set. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps Mini Chalkboard Set.

The top panel is cut from the SB Classic and Petite Scalloped Circles. I added two sizes of Open Roses, some tiny 4 mm Rosebuds, a Cameo (which I don't see in the shop today), and a tiny bow made with very narrow satin ribbon.

Thank you so much for your visit today and we look forward to seeing you again real soon!! Until the next time, big hugs from Jacque!

For my card today I have used the absolutely darling Sweet N Sassy image illustrated by the incomparable Elisabeth Bell for the Little Cottage Cuties Collection for Whimsy Stamps. And isn't she the epitome of SPRING and SUMMER!!!! She was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a touch of Wink of Stella for her belt buckle. The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Damask Rose Collection by Jennifer Ellory. The top corner pieces are by Prima and for the horizontal I have used organza ribbon tied into a double flat bow and topped with a gingham button. The Self-Adhesive Pearls and all flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts:

Hip Rosebuds

Welcome to our happy place where we can show you some of the ways we have used the marvelous products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop. We hope you will want to come by each day for a visit!!

This is my card for the current Wild Orchid Challenge and for this fortnight we are asking you to use...BLUE, BUTTONS, and BIRDS on your creations. As always, there is a lovely prize from the shop at Wild Orchid Crafts for some lucky participant...so we hope you will come on over and join in with us this time!!!

For my card I used a darling Bildmalarna image colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a touch of silver Wink of Stella for the disc player and headphones. The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Maja Life In The Country paper pad. The two pearl buttons on the left corners are from my stash and all other embellishments are from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop:

For the vertical I used the white vintage seam binding and tied it into a triple flat bow to anchor the bird charm which I painted flat white. I also painted the metal corners white before adding the self-adhesive pearls.

Thank you so much for your visit and we hope to see you again real soon! Until the next time, big hugs from Jacque!!

Flowers, flowers, and more flowers!!

A very happy day to everyone and a big THANK YOU for coming by today! I want to show you my little card and gift bag that I made for the Wild Orchid Challenge for this fortnight and where the challenge is to use at least three different kinds of flowers. Of course there are so many more kinds of flowers at the Wild Orchid Crafts shop along with many more lovely products.

For my project I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting and the DP is from the Bunny Love paper pack by Best Creation. The darling little bunny girl images are by hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I used a regular size image for the card and a mini for the bag and colored them with Copics and Promarkers.

For the card I used grosgrain ribbon topped with a satin ribbon and tied into a double flat bow. I used two shades of green FlowerSoft to hide the little egg buttons on the lower left corners on both panels. The corner diecuts are QuicKutz. All of the other embellishments are from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop:

Cottage Roses (2 sizes)

For the fabric gift bag I used two layers of gathered lace for the top edge and a couple of flat bows. The little bunny at the bottom left is a metal charm. The flowers are also from WOC:

Open Roses (2 Sizes)

Again, thanks for your visit and we hope to see you again each day! Until the next time, hugs from Jacque!

Today I have made a little gift box for special little friend who loves snowmen and of course I have used quite a few Wild Orchid Crafts products:

Aster Daisies

A side view shows that I have used styrofoam balls to make the snowman. I covered the half balls with prisma glitter and added Self-Adhesive Pearls and Rhinestones for his buttons, eyes, and nose. His stick arms are the stems from some roses. The trees are decorated with more rhinestones.

Thank you so much for coming by and until the next time, big hugs from Jacque

Many of us use an amazing collection of flowers and embellishments on our cards but there are times when a very simple card can be made a little bit more special and add more interest and dimension by using a few of the gorgeous products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop!

This is a very simple card I made for the current Wild Orchid Challenge which is still going on this week and where the theme is SNOWFLAKES. For the left hand treatment I used some snowflakes from my stash topped with Mulberry Paper Holly Leaves and Open Roses.
