A couple of months ago I was at a big crafty event for a weekend along with my friends. One of the challenges was to create a card with a homemade patterned paper. I took a stencil from Tim Holtz and inked with Distress Ink Pad Broken China. Lucky me, I came as runner up! :)

Happy Birthday Gift Box

Happy Saturday to everyone and thank you so much for dropping by to see what's happening at the Wild Orchid Blog. We hope you will want to come by each day and check out how the DT members have used the magnificent products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop!

I made this simple 6" x 6" Happy Birthday Gift Box using many of the products from the WOC shop:

Pearl Drop Trimming
Aster Daisies

Here is a side view so you can see more of the products....

The DP is from the Maja Design Sofiero line and the organza butterflies are from my stash. You can't see, but I have also used the flat Back Scalloped Pearls on the bottom of the box for the 4 feet. The round sentiment is from Rubbernecker and was stamped using light blue chalk ink.

Again, thanks for coming by and we hope to see you again real soon! Until the next time, big hugs from Jacque!

I'm free!

The summer is here! I LOVE it! :) We have had a wonderful weekend with my sister, her husband, our three cousins and their spouses. A lot of laugh, song, food and sun, a weekend to really remember!

The layout is about me, stop using headache-pills. A terrible headache has haunted me for about 17 years and a cold day in January this year I decided that is has to be enough. I stopped using Aspirin and a few days I was free, no more headache! :) Lucky me!!

I have used Flat Back Scalloped PearlsSparkling RhinestonesPaper Blooms, you can find it all at lovely Wild Orchid Crafts
