Here's a card I made using some pretty purples. I just LOVE these little Venise Butterflies and popping a brad in the center really makes it pop! I love the texture both of these products gives your projects. I think I will need more of these for my stash.. you can find them HERE on the

Pretty paper handbag

Hi there! It is Kylie here to share a bit of Wild Orchid inspiration :o) 

I used a 12' sheet of heavy/good quility scrapbooking paper and scored it into a little handbag. I love these cute one sheet bags. I used my Cherry Lyn 4" doily die to make the top of the bag.

All of the edges have been inked in Vintage Photo DI.
You can see how the bag is scored from this photo. It is a complete 12 inch sheet, scored into three along the top and side and some triangles on the corner panels and two side panels.

A Red Gift Box

Hello everyone!

Summer - Where did it go?

Good Morning Sweet People!

The kids are getting ready for school again on Monday, so the Summer must be over soon...

But where did the Summer go?

We mostly had rain and wind all Summer here in Norway, so I thought I'd go a bit back, and show you some Summery cards - cards filled with happy colours, cute images and lots of flowers :)

Peeking In to Say Hi!

Hi Everyone~

I hope you are all doing well!  Today I have a shaker card to share using Kylie's fabulous tutorial from our Christmas in July Celebration!  Thanks so much Kylie for the GREAT instructions! 

The moment I saw this adorable stamp I knew that I wanted to make a shaker card.   

I've used some beautiful Green German Glass Glitter (80 Grit) mixed with some Kelly Green German Glass Glitter (100 Grit) ...for the shaker part of my card!  I thought these colors were perfect to represent grass for my card.  Have you gotten your own German Glass Glitter that Wild Orchid Crafts carries...oh my word....this product takes glitter to a WHOLE new level!  The sparkle this glass glitter gives is totally out of this world....so much more sparkly than regular glitter!!!  I'm totally in love!!! WOC carries this is many colors and in medium and fine grit levels...which also mix very well together!t

The lace I've used is actually two types of the lace at WOC! The top layer with the blue edging is White Kniting Lace with Baby Blue Edging which is layered on top of some Wide White Guipure Lace.  The bow is created with some gorgeous silk ribbon. The corner was accented using a decorative metal corner...I so love the elegance that these add!

 My flower arrangement was made using amazing Wild Orchid flowers that consists of:  25mm Rose, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm Roses, the green 15mm roses are the moss green roses from the classic colour collection (love the beautiful deep color of these!), 5mm closed rosebuds, and Gypsophilas.  The beautiful crochet butterfly is NEW Venise Lace at Wild Orchid...these appliques are stunning!!!  I then added some gorgeous self adhesive pearls to accent this beauty as well as the sentiment.  Foam tape was used to pop up the wings to appear that the butterfly has just landed on the card.

A round card

Today I have a round card to show you :) I just love, love, love to make shaped cards :)

 The card is made with a Marianne Design die. I have also used several Spellbinders dies for layering. The motif is from Kort og Godt. All gorgeous embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Self Adhesive Pearls, Guipure Lace, Seam Binding Ribbon, Paper Doilies, Venice Lace(butterfly), 10mm Open Roses and Sweetheart Blossoms.

Venise Lace

Hi there, today my card features the gorgeous Venise lace that Wild Orchid Crafts stocks, isn’t that heart just stunning!

  

The Venise Lace  heart and satin ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts as is the trellis rose, poppies, corner metal embellishment and pearls.

The inside has been decorated to compliment the front.
