I love Paper Doilies!!!

 Crazy for Doilies!

I've been doily crazy lately! I want to put them on everything. Sometimes it's so much easier than a die or a punch. This image was to big to mount one doily behind it. So I used 2 and cut them in half to create the border. I've also used WOC Bakers Twine and brown satin ribbon.

Alter a box!

 

Hello crafty peeps!

Today I have a project to show you using Wild Rose Studio stamps from

 Magnolia-licious. I used my new Distress Ink Markers . I'm a little rusty with using them since I haven't water-colored in a while. They sure are fun to use, though. I've altered this adorable little kraft box. I'm really trying to think outside the card lately! :) The best thing about altering something a little larger than a card is that I get to use more of the larger flowers. I love the flower clusters around the box. I think it really 'makes' this project pop!

A Fairy dark card ...

Hi there everyone!
I have made a dark card I wanted to share today. I've used a lot of the grey products
Wild Orchid Crafts carries. I just love the way this card came out. I think the wooden accents are a perfect touch. I love the wooden button against the back and grey accents of the card.

Baby gift-boxes with daisies

Hi everybody!

Last monday was the start of a new challenge at Wild Orchid Challenges and this time we want you to use daisies on your project. I actually have two samples to show you today since I decided to create baby gift-boxes for this challenge for not one but two little girls that were born on June 12th, two little twin girls named Lisa and Aurelia.

The adorable stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs and it's called Floppy Bunny Trio. The pretty papers are from the Rosa Dotje A Flower a day Blauw/Roze paper pad combined with pink and kraft colored cardstock. I do believe the Rosa Dotje paper is Dutch so I'm not sure if it's available in other countries. The letters are cut out of Joy Crafts fine corrugated cardboard with Sizzlits Round-a-bout dies. The ticket with the birthdate is from the Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket Sentiments set. The charms are Marianne Design Newborn Charms.

Sweet little Honeybee

Hi everybody,

Today I have a card to show you using a cutie by Little Cottage Cuties for Whimsy Stamps named Honeybee.

The gorgeous papers that I used are from a 6x6 Prairie Chic Collection Bo Bunny paper pad, I love the combination of sweet papers like the roses that I used and cool wooden planks like I used on the bottom of the card. The gorgeous corners are made with the  Lace Doily Corner 1 die by Whimsy Stamps. Behind the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers is a white feather and a leaf from the Doohickey Leaf & Swirl set by Magnolia.

Criss Cross Card.

Flower Fairy Slip Cover Box

Hello everybody,

You probably already know that the current challenge over at the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge blog is "3 or more different types of flowers". Since the WOC flower selection holds a wide range of different flowers the challenge is not that difficult and you still have a few days to enter. This is the project I created as a sample for this challenge:

The adorable fairy is one of the Flower Fairies by Wee Stamps (available as digital images HERE and as rubber stamps HERE) and this isn't a card but a Slip Cover box. I think these boxes are perfect for little gifts.

This is the box open. I'm not sure what I'm going to put in there yet or who I'm going to give this to but it's always handy to have some of these gift wraps around.

Getting creative with Twine and New Cotton Lace.

 

Hello Wild Orchid Craft friends.

Have you seen this new White Cotton Lace in the Wild Orchid Craft shop!

I love it! It has a shabby chic feel to it and it's just gorgeous!

 

 Recently, I've also been thinking of ways to use my bakers twine. I just love this stuff!

It worked perfectly for the strings on my wooden balloons. Get creative with your bakers twine! It comes in so many colors and adds so much texture to your projects.

I made this little pouch very quickly the other day. I took my Lili of the Valley - Summer Bears set and colored up this cutie and popped it on this little pouch.. added some gorgeous flowers from

 Wild Orchid Crafts and voila! Ohh and take a look at that new white guipure lace... it's gorgeous!!!!!

Add so little goodies in the pouch and you have got yourself a little gift to give.

A Card for my Valentine!

 

I hope you all had a Happy Valentine's Day.

Here's the card I made for my Valentine. I just adore the way it came out. I love the spring colors. These lilies are sure becoming a favorite of mine. Also, if your card or project is too busy or not enough room for a bow, add some of the just ribbon for some texture in the background. I love the look it gives.
