Pink Roses and Green Tulips!!

Howdy! I know some of you already saw this on my blog, but I thought I would show you again how pretty the NEW Mixed Green Tone Tulips and Rose Pink Trellis Roses go together!  The Rose Pink is in the Vintage Color Range on the  Wild Orchid Crafts site.
Pretty combo huh?  This is what the Green Combo package looks like:

I used the brighter ones in the middle.

I also used the white Sweetheart Blossoms, 15mm Lt. Lime Green Open Rose and Self Adhesive Pearls to finish it off.

You gotta love how all the colors coordinate at Wild Orchid Crafts!

Happy shopping!

Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle

Hi there! It is Kylie here to share with you are project.

Ohhh - Christmas is getting closer! Just three months to go! The current Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge  is to "Make it Sparkle with Stars" so I thought I'd make a little candle holder decoration.

What a great opportunity to break out the German Glitter Glass. OMG. I am in love with this stuff. I've used two types on my candle holder - 100 grit and 80 grit.  I recycled an olive jar and when clean, dipped the rim in glue and then Silver German Glitter Glass 80 Grit. It gives a pretty sparkly result doesn't it?  Then I've used some of the stunning Lavendar German Glitter Glass in 100 Grit on the star. It is stuck in place with Glossy Accents. It is just perfect for German Glitter Glass.

Also used on my candle holder are:
Lace

I hope my candle holder inspired you to get started on your Christmas crafts and try some Glitter!

A couple of gift-ideas :)

Hi there :) I like to show you a couple of gift-ideas today. My first is a box for a bag of chocolate. I just love chocolate, don't you?? I used Bazzill for the base and DP from Papir Design. The lid is made with Spellbinders Grand dies. I used magnets to keep the box closed. Stamp is from Kort og Godt. Punches are from StampinUp and Martha Stewart. Gorgeous Organza Ribbon and 15mm and 20mm Open Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts :)

My second idea is a bag for a winebottle. Why not dress it up a little, when you give it as a hostessgift or a birthdaypresent :) Again I have used Bazzill for my base, and DP is from papir Design. Text is from Norsk Stempelblad. Edgepunch is from Martha Stewart and the panels are made with Spellbinders dies. I have used lovely 10, 15, 20 and 25mm Open Roses from WOC as embellishments. The inside  of the box looks like so:

Topiary Frame

Hi Everyone, it is Kylie here today to share a project with you.

I have had this shaddow box frame in my stash for a little while waiting for me to do this project.  I am slowly crossing things off my 'must make' list.
I wanted to make this frame for a little friend of mine who has just had her 7th birthday. She is a very girly girl and I wanted to make something pink and blingy for her... a perfect excuse to get out the gorgeous German Glass Glitter.

I have a gorgeous pot of the Silver glitter and I thought it would be fun to embellish the gorgeous roses with for some extra sparkle. I checked out all of my adhesives and ended up using my Glossy Accents as it was nice and runny. I didn't want the glue to be too thick.

All I did was squeeze a small amount around the edges of the petals of my Wild Roses and then dipped the roses into the glitter in my tidy tray. This way I could save all of the loose unused glitter and return it to the pot for next time.

The flowers and other embellishments used for this project are listed below...

German Glitter Glass - Silver (perfect for all of your Christmas projects!), Ivory Insertion Lace, White Cotton LaceSilver Filigree Corners, Seam Binding in Rose Petal, Small Flat Gardenia in 2 tone Pink25mm Wild Roses in pinkPink Tulips, 6mm closed rose buds in White.

I hope you like my frame and it inspires you to have a bit of a play with your German Glass Glitter.

Have a great weekened,
Kylie.

Hi there....today I like to show a Christmas box with beautiful embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts.
You need a empty box ...I've used an empty matchbox.
I have used brown German glass glitter 80 grit inside the box and on chipboard heart.
Paint some Crackle paint picket fence on the heart and inside the box.
Distress the flowers with distress ink pad Aged mahogany.
Paint some dabber snow cap on the heart before the crackle paint...It's looks like snow :o))
