Meet Mathilda!

I'll hope you all having a great and sunny summer! :) Today it's my turn to show som stuff that I have made.

This layout was created to be a graduation gift for a student. I love how the colour in her eyes just explodes! All the material as roses, rose buds, swirls, laces, stems and other flowers and decorations can you find at Wild Orchid Crafts!

Table Top Christmas Tree

Happy Day everyone!!! I hope you are into a wonderful week and we are so happy to see you here today!

A friend asked me to make her a red rose table top Christmas tree so of course the first place I went for some gorgeous red roses was Wild Orchid Crafts!! I apologize for the picture but I could not get the wrinkles out of the backdrop. I finally found a small 24" (60mm) tree at some website which has 66 tips and I began by using a white maribou boa as garland and tiny 3-D snowflakes. Then Wild Orchid Crafts took over!! I used 25mm (1") Red Organza Ribbon for each of the 66 flat bows and used varying sizes of WOC Red Roses: 35mm Trellis Roses, 25mm Wild Roses and 20mm Open Roses. Finally I topped the tree with a multi-loop Red Organza Bow. I didn't make a skirt to cover the base of the tree since my friend already had something she wants to use!!

Flower Pot With Card

Hello everyone!

My project today: A Flower Pot with a Card.

A flower pot I made using polystyrene ball and fabulous WOC flowers and embelishments:

- roses 10mm, 20mm, 25mm

- large flat gardenias

- vintage seam binding ribbon 

- venice applique butterfly

- pearl spray

White vintage steam ribbon I sprayed with Glimmer Mist to get a vintage blue color.

"Envelope card"

Today I will show you a envelope card.

How to fold the card.

You need a patterned paper 12x12. 

Fold the paper on the middle.

 Fold again.

 Fold like this on the other side too.

 Fold both sides of the back so you get a "pocket" in front and back of the card.

 Glue the bottom of the card on both side.

  

The card is ready to decorate.

Storage Ideas for Your Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers!

We had a special request for ideas on how to store all those gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. One of my favorite things next to crafting is organizing! I don't know why, but I love it! haha! Sometimes you need extra help with ideas so here is a few from the design team!

Bev stores her flowers in these containers that you can find HERE!

She lays them on their sides in a cabinet.

I stash mine away in a closet in this!  I roll it out when ready for the flowers. Mine are pretty old, but they are similar to these HERE.

Jacque stores her flowers in these drawers.  She has several color categorized drawers.

Pops uses bisquit jars that you get 3 for £1 from the pound shop.

She also uses little pull down bins.  She chops off the stems on these, and stores them above her desk 

 

 Well, I hope this gives you ideas for storage of your own.

A round card

Today I have a round card to show you :) I just love, love, love to make shaped cards :)

 The card is made with a Marianne Design die. I have also used several Spellbinders dies for layering. The motif is from Kort og Godt. All gorgeous embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Self Adhesive Pearls, Guipure Lace, Seam Binding Ribbon, Paper Doilies, Venice Lace(butterfly), 10mm Open Roses and Sweetheart Blossoms.
