Congratulations my dear friend!

A couple of weeks ago, I had a crafty event back in my village. I created a quick kickstart challenge for my girls who hade come. The task was to create a random project in just a hour with at least three color from the picture below. I created a congratulationscard for my best friend Miis who had her birthday that very day. :)

I think it went pretty good since I came runner up. ;)

Spirals, roses, wild roses, leaves, paper blooms, pearls, laces and rhinestones flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It's time for me to make another entry for Wild Orchid Crafts and today I'll show you just an ordinary congratualtionscard. Always good to have one and another at the shelf, you never now when they'll be needed. :)

The material I have used are 25mm's roses, 15mm's roses, white paper blooms, white paper leaves, pink heathers, pink lilies, pink gypsophila and some lace wich comes of course from Wild Orchid Crafts!

The High Coast Bridge

Hi everyone!

This is The High Coast Bridge near my birth home. Here comes a little information in english from Wikipedia about it: 

The High Coast Bridge is a suspension bridge crossing the mouth of the Ångermanälven in the province of Ångermanland in northern Sweden. The area is often referred to as The High Coast, hence its name. It is the second longest suspension bridge in Scandinavia , the third longest in Europe, and the eleventh longest of the world. The total length is 1,867 metres (6,125 ft), the span is 1,210 metres (3,970 ft), and the column pillars are 180 metres (591 ft) tall. The max height for ships is 40 metres (131 ft).

White & Pink!

Good morning!

Today it's time for some Swedish stuff in the blog for the best flower shop in the whole world: Wild Orchid Crafts! Today I'll show you an Easelcard that one of my colleagues orderd for his little girl. A girl who really likes pink, white and glitter. :) 

Material from Wild Orchid Crafts are 15'mms roses, selfadhesives pearls och paper flowers.

Spice Up Those Paper Blooms!

Today, I would like to give you a few ideas on spicing up those paper blooms.  Wild Orchid Crafts has a fantastic selection of these flowers and I am finding myself using them more and more!

Here is the first idea:

To create these daylily looking flowers I used this set of Paper Blooms.

Pull the stamens through the center part of the flower and don't pull them all the way down, let them poke up a bit. Gather the flower from underneath pushing all the petals together.  Add a drop of glue down in the center where the stamens are attached and push the bottom of the flower through the hole in the cardstock to hold while it dries.

After the glue has had a chance to dry, start shaping your flower. That's it!  You can curl the petals or leave them straight. Let your imagination run wild.

Next, lets make a daisy looking flower:

Chalk the center of the flower with the desired color, I used green, and then tip the edges with a color to coordinate with your design paper.  I wanted a peach color here, so I used orange.  Now, add your stamens to the center of the flower.

I pushed all the petals up but not all the way just to give it some shape.

Here's the final product on a card.  I can't show the card yet, but it will be on my blog soon!
