A few forgotten embellishments.

Hi there everyone!

I wanted to make a a card using a few of Wild Orchid Crafts non-flower products, that we tend to forget about. I have used some of the raffia ribbon around my card and I took one of these little bows.. which there are a ton of colors available, it's perfect to add some dimension to my vase. I added some german glass glitter to the shadow under my vase and then some large purple pearl brads.. LOVE THESE!

 

This is such a quick card to put together. I think these few embellishments can take your card to the next level withought adding a bunch of flowers.

Merry Christmas

Hi WOC Friends - are you all gearing up for the festive holidays?!  Today I have a holiday card to share with you all!

Image was cut out and popped up onto a paper doilie.  The top of the ornament and tag have been glitzed with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter....LOVE the sparkle to this glitter! 

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of a large poinsettia (edged with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter) topped with a 30mm Wild Rose, small poinsettias topped withSweetheart Blossoms (edged with 100 grit Red German Glass Glitter), 25mm Silver Padded Snowflakes, Gypsophilas, 8mm Semi-opened Rosebuds, White Stamens, and Red Holly Berries.  Arrangement was then finished off with two Pearl Swirls and some May Arts Ribbon.

Bow was accented with a 8mm Semi-opened Rosebud, and mini ringing bell.  These bells are so adorable, I {heart} them to pieces!  

Bottom right corner was accented with some gorgeous large Moonstone Brads.

Giftcard box

I have made a little box to hold a giftcard for my son, this will be one of his christmasgifts this year :) The box is diecut with a Sizzix die called Box #3. Papers are old christmaspapers from Maja Design. Snowflakepunches from Martha Stewart and tag-die from Magnolia. One of the snowflakes is punched from plastic and I glued silver glassglitter on it. All embellies are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Organza Ribbon, German Glass Glitter, Silver Bells and Flat Backed Scalloped Pearls.

Hi WOC Friends!  Kim here to share another Christmas card with you!

I've used one of my Memory Box Dies to create the ornament.  Then it was blinged up using Blue and Silver Self Adhesive Rhinestones from WOC.  The snowflake charm is also a WOC product.  

Flower arrangement #1 consists of: 30mm Wild Rose, Small Poinsettia Blooms with Medium Moonstone Brads, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, Lilly, Small Silver Snowflake, Large Hologram Snowflake, and the little Silver Twist accents were made using German Glass Glitter.  You have probably seen these on Bev's creations - thanks hun for sharing your secret of using the German Glass Glitter to make our very own sparkly twists!

Flower arrangement #2 consists of: 30mm Wild Rose, Small Poinsettia Blooms with Medium Moonstone Brads, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, Lilly, 4mm Rosebuds, and some more of the little Silver Twist accents were made using German Glass Glitter.  The arrangement was finished off with a  Sparkling Rhinestone.

Silver and Gold

Hi all, its Kylie here to share a card with you today. 

It is time for a new challenge at Wild Orchid Crafts Challenges! 

This fortnight we want to see SILVER and /or GOLD on your project. 

I have a heap of WOC products on my card... gosh, I just couldn't stop myself! 

Twine, Bells, Pearl string, Wood embellishments, Crown Pin, Cosmos Daisy, German Glitter Glass, Small Gardenia, Small Poinsettie, Pearl Brad, Lace, Aster Daisy,

Been testing my water colour painting again :) This one was super fun to do. 

And some Magnolia paper and Doo Hickey dies and the card is complete!

Christmas Star

I have a not so traditional colours Christmas Card today, I am loving the deep pink!

I have used more of those gorgeous Flat Backed Scalloped Pearls in pink, so pretty.    I also dug out the German Glass Glitter to coat the wooden snowflake, and it’s still on offer at 50% off!! I coated the snowflake with white craft glue then dunked it in the pink German Glass Glitter and left to dry.  It sure does make a fab addition to the card I think.  I finished off with a trellis rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses and hip rose buds oh and some white leaves too.

Sweetheart Blossoms Galore!!!

I usually use a variety of flowers on my cards but today I have only used one type of flower which I hope matches the DP quite closely. These sweet flowers are some of my very favorites--SWEETHEART BLOSSOMS--and I think they make quite a statement when used in a cluster, especially using different colors. You will find that there is a lovely Mixed Color Selection on SPECIAL OFFER at the moment. I have also used some lovely SATIN RIBBONS and SELF-ADHESIVE PEARLS

Star Light, Star Bright

Edges of paper have been accented with 80 grit Gold German Glass Glitter!  I absolutely LOVE the added sparkle that this gives!  Corners have been decorated with Decorative Metal Corners in Gold.

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of: 25mm Rose, Cherry Blossom, 15mm Rose, 10mm Roses, Gold Glitter Holly Berries, Hip Rose, and Stamens.  25mm Bown Gingham Ribbon and the gorgeous Pearl String Trim is also from WOC!

More WOC Flowers....mini upper arrangement has been accented with a gorgeous gold Snowflake Charm.

Vintage Fun!

Happy Monday Friends!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  Today I have some vintage fun to share with you:

This card was made using LOTS of Wild Orchid Crafts goodness!  I love the vintage look of this Guipure Lace, it adds such elegance to any card.

Image leaves have been accented with 100 grit Kelly Green German Glass Glitter!  I absolutely LOVE the sparkle and glitz this glitter adds, it's definitely the best glitter on the market!  I can see using this glitter to accent Christmas Trees.  3mm Self Adhesive Pearls from the Green Collection were added to the dragonflies.

The bow was made using some fabulous Chocolate Brown Raffia Ribbon and then topped off with a 15mm Rose.

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement was using a 35mm Trellis Rose, 30mm Wild Rose, 25mm Rose, 15mm Roses, and Gypsophilas in white and pink.

Silver Filigree Corner Christmas Tree!

Hello there my crafty friends.
 I wanted to share how I made a Christmas tree using the Silver Filigree Corners. I hot glued them together and then added them to my card. I think it looks so pretty, especially with the right papers. This paper has a lot of silver in it. Then I took my Silver German Glass Glitter and went all around the edges. This stuff is great!

Christmas Fun with Wild Orchid Crafts!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!! We are so happy that you have dropped by and hope you will come by each day to see the amazing ways that the WOC products can be used.

This is a card that I made for the 4th Issue of the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine and Wild Orchid Crafts had a major role in the issue this month!!!! The base and all matting is Bazzill and the DP is from Best Creations Merry Christmas collection. The image is Mr & Mrs Teddy Claus by Whimsy Stamps and was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Liquid Applique for the fur. The outline of the image was done with 100 Grit Green German Glass Glitter. The bow is 1 1/4" Red Silk Ribbon anchoring a couple of Miniature Silver Ringing Bells dangling on 1/4" Red Satin Ribbon. For the horizontal I used some WOC Lace and the floral treatment is Small Red Poinsettias centered with Small Moonstone Brads resting on Holly Leaves.

A purple birthdaycard

I have a purple birthdaycard to show you today. Papers are from Papir Design, picture from Pion design and stamps from Kort og Godt. The card is made with GoKreate dies. On the edge of the motif I have glued on gorgeous German Glass Glitter in purple. Looks sooooo yummi! Organza Ribbon, Poppy Flowers, Tea Rose and brand new Lilies are also fromWild Orchid Crafts.

Topiary Frame

Hi Everyone, it is Kylie here today to share a project with you.


I have had this shaddow box frame in my stash for a little while waiting for me to do this project.  I am slowly crossing things off my 'must make' list.

 I wanted to make this frame for a little friend of mine who has just had her 7th birthday. She is a very girly girl and I wanted to make something pink and blingy for her... a perfect excuse to get out the gorgeous German Glass Glitter.

I have a gorgeous pot of the Silver glitter and I thought it would be fun to embellish the gorgeous roses with for some extra sparkle. I checked out all of my adhesives and ended up using my Glossy Accents as it was nice and runny. I didn't want the glue to be too thick.

All I did was squeeze a small amount around the edges of the petals of my Wild Roses and then dipped the roses into the glitter in my tidy tray. This way I could save all of the loose unused glitter and return it to the pot for next time.

 The flowers and other embellishments used for this project are listed below...
