Inspired by Autumn

Today I like to show you my challenge card for this week :) I´ve used dies from Spellbinders - Detailed Scallop, and papers from Pion Design. Text is from Kort og Godt. Lovely flowers and embellishments are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Self Adhesive Pearls, Cherry Blossom, Open Roses, Trellis Roses and Vintage Seam Binding.

Manila Tag # 5 are distressed with Distress ink Pad - Walnut Stain, Frayed Burlapg and
Spiced Marmelade ... plus water.

Hi there!! Today’s card is just to simply say goodbye to summer. The days are getting much shorter…and it makes me sad! I love summer and the longer days. I guess…I just need to look forward to Peppermint Mochas and Christmas!!  

For my card, I used the sketch from this week’s challenge at MDUC along with the Magnolia stamp, Chair in Sunset. I thought the empty chair would be kind of fitting for a Miss You card.

Pink Chrysanthemum, Baby Pink Bead Berry Spray,  Cosmos Daises, Navy Open Rose, Cherry Blossom,  Pink Rosehip Rosebud, Carnation

and a shabby chic frame made with a silicone mold,  paper clay and Frantage along with a computer generated sentiment.

Good morning, today I am using one of my new Return To Fairy Glen stamps...

I cannot believe I have had her in my stamp box all this time and never inked her up, I usually just click and print but went to look for something and found these still in the packets, they are on my stamping desk now, isn't she gorgeous and a super size too, she has been coloured with copics and I have added a few white dots with Liquid pearls, her wings have been glittered with stardust....

I have used my favourite go to papers from Nitwits these are from the Always and Forever set and have been slightly distressed with tea dye, I have added some scrap lace  and some Metal Corners, my flowers are Wild Roses, Carnations, Cosmos Daisy, 25mm, 15mm,  10mm Open Roses, have not put on a sentiment yet as I don't know where she is going....

Be inspired by the autumn!

Create a project inspired by autumn, thats the challenge from Wild Orchid Challenge this time. I have been inspired by the darkness. 

The card is for my cousin who recently became venerable and worthy of 50 years. ;) He once said to me: "The only thing I want when I turn 50 is a card that you made and it should be in black and purple. Well, that's a deal, I thought, and made this card. :)

Open Roses 10mm, Closed Rosebuds 4mm, Seam Binding Riboon.

 

Seam Binding ribbon is colored with Distress ink Pad - Victorian Velvet.

Add some Distress Glitter - Victorian Velvet and Strukturpaste.
