Trellis rose tag

Hi!

It's me, Cathrine here to show you my latest project made for Wild Orcid Crafts.

This time I made a tag using one of my favourite flowers the large trellis rose. I have also fallen in love with the dove. How cute isn't that little bird!? 

I've been in kind of a "tag mode" lately, and can't get enough of tag making ;-) Just love it!

A fairy tag

Tag With Frosty Flowers - Tutorial

  Today I want to share with you a tag and a small step-by-step tutorial to show you how I prepared it.

I started to cut the paper.

I add some gesso around the edges. 

Glue the layers on.

When the layers were ready, I glued roses and gardenia flowers on the tag. 

I also glued on bows made of twine.

I add some adhesive pearls and rose leaves.

I use Snow Writer to get a "frosty look" and Star Dust. 

I also used ribbon and flat pack pearl in a diamond circle.

Here's the result.

Tag - "STEP-BY-STEP"

Today I want to share with you a tag and a small step-by-step tutorial.

 

 

 

First I make a dis (Tim Holtz) at about 8 x 15 cm. (1).

Then I cut following rectangles:

2.  7,5 x 14,5 cm

3.  7,0 x 14,0 cm

4.  6,5 x 13,5 cm

 

 

I blacken the edges with following ink:

Chestnut Roan, Olive Pastel and Sepia Black. All from ColorBox.

I sew a small border with a sewing machine on the smallest rectangle (top rectangle on the tag).
Then I glue the rectangles layer by layer on the tag.

I'm stamping a text and cut this with Spellbinders. Here I have used Spellbinders Standard Circles, Large and Small.

I also blacken with the same ink as above. I attach 3D-squares behind and glue the text on the tag.

 

 

I fold and tear a little around the edges on the tag, the pattern paper and the text. This to get that "shabby-chic"-look.

 

 

Your tag is ready to be decorated!

Tag - NEWBORN

Hi everyone!

Today I have a tag to show you.

 

 

 

 

 

I used a variety of different flowers but love how they look together.

 

I have dabbed white GESSO paint on to the flowers and the tag.
