Green layout

Hello, Monika here :)

Today I would like to present to you my latest layout made with lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

I used big turquoise tea roses, they are really gorgeous. Then added smaller wild roses, some green sweethearts blossoms and tiny white open roses. I also used hydrangea blooms, they look lovely as a filler to the flower cluster.

To make my flower cluster look more natural I also used lots of leaves in two sizes and some sissal.

Romantic Z-Fold Card

Easter card

Hello flower lovers, Monika here.
Today I have for you an Easter card made with Pretty Flori Mixed White.

This set of Pretty Flori includes different kinds and sizes of flowers, I used 3 kind of them. Then I just added some small roses. 

As a final tough I added some leaves, rhinestones and a sissal nest.

Wedding folded card

Hi everyone!
Today I would like to show you a wedding double z-fold card with my favourite trellis roses.

I just love trellis roses, they are so beautiful and perfect. As a filler to the cluster I used smaller flowers - blue tone cherry blossoms and 10mm white open roses.

I finished the inside with the coordinating patterned paper and some rhinestones.

 Inside of my card I also made a hidden money pocket.

Hello everyone, it is Wednesdaty and my turn to give you some inspiration.

 I have made this mixed media canvas.

A friend of my did give me a challenge: Use watches and yellow on a canvas. Of course I did take that challenge, and it is so outside my comfort zone.

Sometimes we need this kind of challenges to become a better artist.

I have used some different past, overlays, sprays and mists to make the bacground.

I have used "old flowers" to paint on. When I am coloring flowers, I am not always satisfied with the outcome. I save this flowers to used them in mixed media projects.

Valentine`s Day set

Hello :)

Today I would like to show you a Valentine`s Day set with red roses.

To decorate box and card I used big Tea roses, smaller Cottage roses and 10mm small open roses, all flowers are red. Green leaves I used as a filler to the cluster.

Small cards - Tutorial

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you some cards, and a small step-by-step tutorial to show you how I've prepared it.

I have used the same technique on every card here. 

  

Step-by-step:

Cut a cardstock at 10 x 20cm, 9 x 9 cm and 8 x 8cm as shown in the picture below.

Around the edges I decorate with stickles; Golden Rod.

Glue them on eachother.

Cut two pieces as shown in the picture below. 

I've attached the upper circle with small 3mm 3D foam squares. 

Glue it on.

Then I start adding flowers.

First I add a wild rose 30mm, then open roses 15mm and at last rosebuds 4mm.

In the right corner I've added open rose 15mm and rosebuds 8mm.

I've added some rose leaves as shown in the picture below.

The last thing I do is adding a thin layer of "Frost" (Snow Writer) and Star Dust.

Here's the result!

White Wedding

This card is my first approach to monochromatic works. Except white you may notice a little bit of green - I decided to leave those green elements they look really natural and i like this realistic look in WOC flowers.
