White Poinsettia Christmas Card

Hello crafty souls Ulrika here!

Today I have a Christmas card with many layers of paper. I wanted the eye to focus on my handmade Poinsettias and the nice words. Therefore I made many frames and the smallest one is around my words. I painted the cute stars green and added rhinestones. When I took my photos I realized that one of them has fallen off! So that I need to fix before I send the card to someone dear to me!

I really love working with the foamiran! Today I left it all white and only added my painted spray. To get some sparkle I added metallic thread and I also used the beautiful metallic corner embellishments.

Thank you for visiting the Wild Orchid Craft blog today!

Hugs from Ulrika!

A Wedding Card

Hi everyone!
Here I am with a Wedding card I have made.
It has been published in the Norwegian magazine Ett Trykk this Summer,
but I wanted to show it to you too, since I have used some
gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers!

The text is from Stempelglede and the dies are DooHickeys from Magnolia.
The lovely bride is a stamp from Saturated Canary.

Here I have used Ballerina Blossom, rose hip buds, roses and berry spray.

The papers are from Maja Design.
The card is actually a frame card, and I have used this tutorial as inspiration.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

Snowy card

Before I added paper stripes and the lace I used a stencil with stars. I always use crackle paint on my art, and coffe splash. And in winter time I love to add snow as well.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Monday, everyone!! Lisa here to share a couple of Christmas cards with you today featuring poinsettias made with flower making foam, as well as several other products found in the Wild Orchid Crafts Store.

I used Ivory Flower Making Foam to create these poinsettias, inking the bottom layer to create the leaves.

For the centers of the flowers, I used Red Bead Berry Spray Clusters and White Bead Berry Spray Clusters. Tucked among the flowers are Skeleton Leaves, White Mulberry Paper Leaves, Frosted Berry Sprays and White Spiral Stamens. I also used Self-Adhesive Pearls in two sizes.

Green Hearts for Christmas

Hello crafty souls Ulrika here!

I really like to totally change bargain buys! I bought these cute hearts 50% off and totally gave them a makeover! They were white with dragonfly stickers on when I bought them.

First I painted them with gesso and then I added some texture with a stencil and modeling paste. Then I painted the hearts with a really shiny green color and also added two different shades of metallique wax. After the hearts was dry properly the fun begin with adding lots of flowers!

I mixed Roses, Lily Flowers, Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms and Berries. To get even more texture I added two sizes of Art-stones from Prima, Glassfillers and a ton of glitter.

Rustic christmas card

Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. I am sharing a new christmas card that I made using the new papers from Maja design and combined them with the...roses, and I think its still perfect for christmas. I have picked the colors of my roses that are very close to the papers, so they matched perfectly together.

close ups:
I have sprinkled the larger roses with some "snow" glitter.
I love how this small artificial balls look on the pine trees and look at this beautiful pearl star (perfect for christmas- from WOC- see the product list below)
