  1. Hi Vick lovely tutorial love all your work. You inspired me to make boxes with my granddaughters I have 3 I made one first and said to them this is what you are aiming for. Each box turned out completely different , and the children were thrilled with the boxes. It was so special spending a day with my grandchildren, and you can imagine how long it took tidying up everywhere. I got all the flowers from Wild Orchids as I use them when I make cards, and they are stunning.
    Kind regards Anne Owens.

  3. Hi Vick just to let you know I have just made two memory boxes at the weekend one for my daughter and one for my son in law who has just lost his mum. They have turned out beautiful and they are truly beautiful for putting little keepsakes in. I put butterflies on the one for my son-in-law and created these with the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
    Thank you for the inspiration.
    Kind regards
    Anne Owens.

  4. Hi there Anne, I am so happy that you love all my work, and are inspired, as that is the main reason i create things for, To Inspire! My saying is "If i can inspire just one person each time i make something, my job is done!!" So you have made me very happy indeed. Unfortunately & sadly, my contract with WOC is up now and next week (24th June) is my last project with them, but my wish is that you continue to follow me & them, I promise many lovely projects to come from myself. I am so happy that you spent the day creating with your grandchildren, i have 3 of my grandchildren coming to visit for 2 weeks in the summer holidays and i will make sure they make some things and i can hopefully record some of it, to put on my YouuTube channel so everyone can be involved. In answer to your question, No, i did not paint the inside of the lid that holds the phhotograph, simply because, in this instance, i didnt want a full painted surface i was aiming for a white pearl wash where the wood grain shows through, but yes, normally i would paint it all. I hope that answers your question sweetheart.
I am so honoured to know that i inspired you to also make 2 memory boxes for your daughter and son in law, and yes these are very good for keeping those keepsakes true to our hearts. I am so sorry to hear of your Son-in-Law's heartache, i know only too well how awful that is. Please pass on my condolences, the butterflies are a lovely touch, instilling a symbol of new life being born, i am so blessed to be part of, if only a small part, in the reason for you creating such beauty. Please do not hesitate to contact me via my blog or email at vickshine1@btinternet.com and share your pictures of your creations i would love that, Bless you for taking the time out to contact me Anne. Thank you ever so much, you don't know what messages like yours do for me, so again, thank you, hugs&smiles, Vick xx
