Best Friends

Today I'm sharing a card with a sneak peek stamp called Little Acorn by Victoria Case for SCACD.  She's so sweet with her cute little ladybug, don't they look like best friends?!  Papers are from the new Basic Grey Pyrus Collection, love these gorgeous colors!  Corners have been jazzed up with my Viva Decor Dark Brown Pearl Pen.

Flowers are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts.  Arrangement consists of 35mm Large Wild Rose, 25mm Wild Roses, Aster Daisies, 15mm Rose, 8mm semi-open roses, 5mm closed rosebud.  All flowers started out white, I used my Copic ABS to get the exact colors to match my card.  Then flowers got a coat of Illuminate Smooch to jazz them up!

Hope this card brings some brightness to your day!  :)

Teacher's Flowers

Happy Friday to my Flower Loving Friends~

Today I have a fun project to share with you!
I've taken a cute wooden box, painted it first with some off white spray paint, and then went over it with some Viva Decor precious metals paint, added this cute Inky Impressions Lili's First Day of School stamped image (that's been colored with Copics) and then added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and pearls to jazz up my gift box even more!  This fun box houses some fun school supplies and would make a great gift for a teacher or a student!
Here you can see the fun flowers and pearls that were added to dress up the box!  Flowers consist of a Sweet Rose, Cherry Blossoms, Gardenias, 15mm roses, Aster Daisy, 10 mm roses, 4mm close rosebuds, and 5mm and 3mm pearls.  All flowers have been sparklized with Illuminate Smooch.

I hope you've enjoyed my creation for today!  Make sure you head over to Wild Orchid and get your pearls and flowers today!   Have a great weekend!

Fall Flowers in Non Traditional Colors

Good Morning~
Normally when I think of fall....I immediately think of red, orange and yellow.....well today I have a fun card to share with you using some non-traditional fall colors....Blue and Brown!!!!
Image is from Inky Impressions and has been colored with my Copics.  Papers are from Inque Boutique Memoirs collection.  The large dark blue scalloped circle is made with my Marianne design die that I got at CHA.  Image has been cut with SB Labels 14 and popped up on a SB beaded oval nestie.  The dark blue pearls in the corners of the card are a combination of 3mm and 5mm self adhesive pearls (I've used the Green/Blue color collection from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The small pearls on the beaded oval die are also 3mm pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts, they are from the white/ivory/tan collection.
Flowers of course are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts and consist of 25mm Roses, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm roses, and then are accented with 3mm pearls.

The second flower collection consists of 15mm roses.  All of the flowers have been sparkalized with Illuminate Smooch.

I can't wait to see what non-traditional colors you use on your fall cards now! :)

A little weddingbox in purple and white :) It's made with a Sizzix Pro die, with designerpaper from Inkido. Text is from Norsk Stempelblad, the textpanel is a punch from StampinUp! and also the leaves are a Sizzix die from them.  All my lovely embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts: organza ribbon, two tone lilac Tea roses, 5mm closed rosebuds and  white pearl spray . I've used Stickles glitterglue to add a little bling to the roses :)

Poinsettia Fun!

Hi Friends~ Hope your week is going wonderfully!

Today I'd like to share my first Christmas card of the year with you!  I thought I should kick it in gear and start making my Christmas cards, seeing how last year I ran out of time! lol!  This image is from Whiff of Joy and paper are from the Memory Box Mistletoe Collection.  Edges of the layers have been distressed with my Distress-It-All and then blinged up with diamond stickles. Image was colored with Copics and accented with my TonerTex Pen and Glitter.
The Poinsettia Flowers are from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts!  Oh my goodness are these perfect for Christmas cards.  They come with a yellow stamen center, however I took my flowers apart and used my Twinklets to bling them up.  Then put them back together and used my Pearl Stamens in the center instead.
Here are the smaller two Poinsettias that been given the same treatment as the large one above!  These seriously are PERFECT for your holiday cards!  You better go and get them now while they are still in stock! :)

Roses for Christmas

I have a card to share today that I did for the Just Magnolia challenge using the Cracked Glass technique (which I do NOT like lol).magnolia-cracked-glass-2

The flowers and lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used 40mm hybrid tea rose, 25mm hybrid tea roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, 8mm semi open roses and 4mm rose buds.  The pearls are also from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I decided I don’t like the cracked glass look so as soon as I had photographed the card for the Just Magnolia challenge I pulled the image off and replaced it with a plain and ordinary coloured image minus the cracks and wrinkles.  Much better lol.
