My name is Randi Thorsen. I live in a small town in the northern part of Norway. I'm married and I have a son who's 13 years old.
I've always loved scrapping, but in 2003 it became serious for me; I made my first cards and I immediately got hooked! Mostly I enjoy making cards and tags, sometimes decorative boxes, too. I love working with flowers and bling, which you can see on most of my projects. I'm extremely proud and happy to join the designer team at Wild Orchid Crafts!

Organizing

Hello everyone!
Beginning of new year is a good moment to start reorganizing our work space, so I made two recycled toolboxes for me and my daughter.

I used empty cans. I decorated them using lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I chose white and light cream flowers and white leaves, and added a little splash of colour - delicate forget-me-nots.

I also added a metal embellishment. It was a little to dark for my project, so I painted it white with gesso and added some microbeads.

The second toolbox I made for my daughter, has three parts I adhered together. I also used delicate  white and light cream flowers and white leaves. This time I also added turquoise apple blossoms.

I just love these little roses, they are so delicate and sweet. Look, how gorgeous they are.

Happy New Year to you all!  I spent my New Years morning making this card.  I love having time to play

Loving the chipboard sentiment, it was a dark chipboard colour when I started out, I just sponged some white gesso on then drew in the sentiment and scroll with a pencil once dried.

Hi! My name is Corene. I was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and recently moved to a small town outside of Vegas. I have the best of both worlds...I live in a small town community, but can be in Vegas in about 30 minutes. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, and we have one beautiful and sweet boy, both who are so supportive of my hobby. I love to craft. I started when I was about 15 years old, but then really became passionate about it when my son was little. A friend of mine gave me a bag full of goodies, and that lit the fire in me. I spend time in my craft room every single day. It is a stress reliever for me, not to mention so much fun! I find so much joy in starting with a few pieces of chipboard & paper, and creating a mini album that will hold treasured memories for years to come. I love to make cards, mini albums, scrapbook layouts, smash book, alter items, work with vinyl...pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I love making videos for YouTube, and have the best followers a girl could ask for! I hope you will stop by, and check out my channel.https://www.youtube.com/user/corenescreations I'm so honored to be part of the amazing Wild Orchid Craft design team, where there is so much amazing talent! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little bit better! Hugs ~Corene~

For you at Christmas!

Hello everyone, it's Alberto here.
Since i am a new designer for the blog, i wrote a little bio so you have the chance to know me a little bit more.

I'm Alberto a 19 Years old boy who is in love with cardmaking, stamping and scrapbooking since 2009-2010. My "art name" is Loshakerato Alberto, because when i have opened my blog i was searching a nickname and with the help of my Grandmother and my aunt i have find this nickname which fit perfectly with my personality. I love spending my time coloring, reading, going out with friends and watching a lot of films and tv-series.
I live in a little city in the north of Italy, near Venice, called Pordenone with my mom, my mom's boyfriend, my two brothers and my little dog Called Margot. I have also opened my own little shop where i sell my digital stamps "shaky A.".
i have started crafting in 2009-2010. I started because my aunt started making some scrapbooking pages and i totally fell in love with the tecnique. Some months later, i joined in a cafting class in Rimini where i have discovered the cardmaking world and i have colored my first image there.

And here is my first creations for Wild orchid craft.
I know that christmas is gone, but i really love making christmas cards all year.
I got the magnolia club kit dies not so long ago so i had to make something new for christmas.

Hi my name is Sara McDowall, I have been crafting for just over 2 years and have totally fallen in love with everything to do with it. I started out to make cards and have slowly progressed to altered projects.I have my own site on Facebook called Just Cards By Sara and a YouTube channel where I do start to finish project shares and techniques. The thing I love the most about crafting is how you can turn a simple piece of paper into a beautiful piece of art. I really enjoy mixed media, creating textures and distressing. I look forward to sharing my work with you all.
