Hi peeps :)
Dawny P here and I hope that you are all OK xxx
I thought I’d share an idea that I had that uses the very sweet hydrangea blooms which are available here.
I think these are so versatile and easy and quick to use. You could just pop a self adhesive pearl in the centre and simply use them like that or you could add a small rose like I have done here.
The roses I used are white 10mm open roses and all you have to do is …
- feed the wire rose stem from front to back through the hole in the centre of the hydrangea petal
- then bring the wire stem back to the front between one of the gaps between the petals
- wind the wire stem round the base of the rose 2 or 3 times
- cut off any excess.
You don’t need to use glue or tape as it will all sit together nicely and will not come apart and they take no time at all to put together.
And that’s what we like :)
This is how I used them on my card.
I think it’s quite a nice way to add blooms when you are short of time or you want to go for a less is more kind of look. Although the blooms are available in 12 different shades, the white ones can be coloured with your Copics or Promarker pens really easily.
They are very VERY pretty :)
Thank you for sharing today and see you soon, Take care peeps and hugs to all xxx
