Hanging cards

Name-day card

Hello everyone, Monika here :)
First I would like to wish you a very happy New Year :)
Today I have for you a name-day card with lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

To decorate this card I used big and smaller blue roses, added some small lilies, white apple blossoms, white roses and rosebuds. As a base of my flower cluster I used ivory sissal, it looks lovely.

I also used some leaves and white and aqua pearls.

Colorful mini canvas

Today, I have a very simple home decor project you can make (almost) on a whim! I use a watercolour canvas board as the base on my project. I put watercolour sThis can be made when you need a gift and you donjt have a lot on it in a rainbow order. I than use sticky rub-ons and gold foil for an instant elegant look. Finally, I add flowers and ribbons to complete the rainbow effect (I used a glue gun to be even quicker). The quote is print on vellum paper.

 It can make a beautiful gift to make when you are in a rush!

Card and step-by-step

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you a card and a small step-by-step tutorial to show you how I prepared it.

But first some pictures.

  

STEP-BY-STEP

First I prepared some pieces of paper and made a layered card base, as shown below.

I add some gesso around the edges. 

Glue the layers on.

When the layers were ready, I glued magnolia flower and lily on the card. 

Then chrysanthemum and another lily.

Rosebuds and Tuscany rosebuds. 

Apple blossom, wild rose and gardenia.

At last rosebuds and open rose.

Vintage seam binding ribbon and flatback pearl in a diamond circle. 

I use Snow Writer to get a "frosty look" and Star Dust.

At last I glued on a bow made of twine.
