I have a thing for shoes...

If I would point for a weakness about me it's definitely about shoes. High heels and a lot of glitter, thats the thing! Every year, my sister Lisa, gives me a shoe of glass and they all have the place of honor in my Christmas Tree. It's beginning to be a pretty nice collection now. :)

I actually won a sketch challenge wis this layout. :) Ulrika had drawn the sketch. Yay me! :D

The Gold of Northland

I was off to a really cozy weekend with a lot of good friends and a lot of great crafting. One of the challenges was to create a layout after a sketch drawn by My/ScrapMyran. I ran out of time so this layout was made in just 14 minutes. 14! I think thats my record. ;)

The picture is taken at our cabin up in the mountains where there are a lot of cloudberries, best berries there is! :)

Have a nice day!

Afternoon Tea

Here comes a layout with photos from my friend Ingrids Garden Party with Afternoon Tea. It was a really hot day in September and we enjoyed the sun, the sandwiches and eachothers company. :)

My wonderful, cuddly, amazing, stubborn, playful, adoreable, cozy and happy dog Vittra. There is'nt words enough to describe how much she means to me. I just love her. From here to the stars and back. At least. ♥

My favourites

Another layout from HighCoastScrap in Övik. The challenge was to use something pink, dots and a tag. I scrapped my favourite perfumes: Trésor in love from Lancôme and Dolce and Gabbana's no 3 L'Imperatrice. Juuuust love them! And guess what, the jury loved my layout and picked me for the winner! :)

Coffee!

I really like coffee and I really like Starbucks. :) The challenge I entered was to be inspired by a picture of a cake in turqouise, white and brown and this is the result of what I did. :)

A tiny bureau

When I was in Karlstad for that big crafty weekend, we had challenge in the middle of the night: create a bureau out of three match boxes. Can not say I'm happy with the result but I blame tiredness and fatigue or something. ;) I jacked the boxes in to half the size to get a little shallower bureau, created a mirror that I put self adhesive pearls around, dressed the drawers with pearl string to create the illusion of nine drawers, managed to create a mirror out of a flatback rhinestone and a necklace.

Malin aka Lillpiga

Good morning!

June is passing by in a really fast pace and it’s this weekend it was the best holiday in Sweden: Midsummer! I LOVE the summer with all the flowers, sun, vacation and baths! And since Sweden is the most beautiful country in the world, it’s even more to love about the summer. :)

In Sweden is it broad daylight 24 hours a day in summertime, pretty cool. :) In the northern part, the sun never sets so you can lay on the beach in the middle of the night and take a sunbath.

I have eaten a lot of herring and strawberries, having  cold vodka shots, enjoyed the young potatoes, making our selfs a maypole and had the best company!

Before I show you a layout with yours truly on it, I will show you a traditional maypole from Sweden. We make it out of birch branches and a lot of flowers. The kids dance around it and we girls like to have matching wreath of flowers in our hair. :)
