Tis A Twine Challenge!!

A very Happy Monday to everyone and welcome to the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog. We are so happy that you have dropped by and hope to see you each and every day right here!

The card I have for today was made for the Wild Orchid Challenge and for this fortnight we are using TWINE. We hope you will come over and join in with us and show us the ways you use TWINE. As always there is a nice prize from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop for some lucky participant!!

I have used all Wild Orchid Crafts embellishments for my easel card.

I used Divine Twine, which is available in 10 different colors, for the pennant banner and for filler in the floral arrangement made with a 30mm Cottage Rose, Carnations, and Hip Rosebuds, as well as several Decorative Pins.  Finally I used some Flat Back Pearl Trim and some Self Adhesive 5mm Pearls.

For the base of the easel card, I used Self Adhesive 3mm Pearls and another tiny Divine Twine bow for the diecut umbrella.

Again, thank you for your visit, and until the next time, Big Hugs from Jacque!

Waiting for Spring

When I was in Övik for HighCoastScrap, one of the challenges was to be inspired by the word “twitter”. I took a couple of photos of my tree where I feed the birds in the winter and created this layout. When the jury had left their votes, I was in second place together with another lady. When my friend had drawn lots, I wasn’t the lucky one… Darn! ;)

I have used white paper flowers and some wonderful white and sparkly flowers, I just love them as centerpieces! You can find them in at Wild Orchid Crafts!

Dont forget to check out the WOC-blog and the Challenge-blog with new challenges every second monday!

Have a nice Sunday!

A few forgotten embellishments.

Hi there everyone!
I wanted to make a a card using a few of Wild Orchid Crafts non-flower products, that we tend to forget about. I have used some of the raffia ribbon around my card and I took one of these little bows.. which there are a ton of colors available, it's perfect to add some dimension to my vase. I added some german glass glitter to the shadow under my vase and then some large purple pearl brads.. LOVE THESE!

This is such a quick card to put together. I think these few embellishments can take your card to the next level withought adding a bunch of flowers.

Supplies
Paper - Basic Grey
Ink - Memento and Copics
Accessories - White gel pen
