Ornaments by Lillpiga

For several of years we have had a Christmas Tree in just red and gold. Now, I want one in just silver and white. How hard can it be to make my own decorations? Not hard at all! Just some Gesso, German Glitter Glass and a white ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts. Here comes the result, my very own ornaments:

For more inspiration by me, please visit my private blog!

Dont forget to check out the WOC-blog and the Challenge-blog with new challenges every second monday! :)

I wish you all a great day!

Red and goldish ornaments of not so good quality.

After one layer of Gesso.

I used small cups for eggs when I painted the ornaments.

After a couple of layers with Gesso I sprinkled them with German Glitter Glass.

Doesnt it looks nice? :)

A white ribbon and voíla! I have made myself brand new and stunning ornaments for my Christmas Tree! :)

Want to see the whole tree? Welcome to my private blog at Christmas Eve! :)

Merry Christmas

Hi WOC Friends - are you all gearing up for the festive holidays?!  Today I have a holiday card to share with you all!

Image was cut out and popped up onto a paper doilie.  The top of the ornament and tag have been glitzed with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter....LOVE the sparkle to this glitter!
Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of a large poinsettia (edged with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter) topped with a 30mm Wild Rose, small poinsettias topped withSweetheart Blossoms (edged with 100 grit Red German Glass Glitter), 25mm Silver Padded Snowflakes, Gypsophilas, 8mm Semi-opened Rosebuds, White Stamens, and Red Holly Berries.  Arrangement was then finished off with two Pearl Swirls and some May Arts Ribbon.
Bow was accented with a 8mm Semi-opened Rosebud, and mini ringing bell.  These bells are so adorable, I {heart} them to pieces!
Bottom right corner was accented with some gorgeous large Moonstone Brads.
I hope you have enjoyed my creation and you all have a fabulous holiday season with your loved ones!

Good Morning today I am sharing a creation using another image from Redonkulous Designs this one is Friends Forever....

Isn't she a grown up cutie, I love grown up images, she has been coloured with a mix of markers, I have not decorated the inside as it is for Lee to take to school for all the teachers to sign, these papers are gorgeous and I don't know what they are called, they have all been distressed, I have used torn paper scraps and lots of layers as always, I have added some lace and Seam Binding  and behind the image is some Chessecloth...

I have added some White Blooms and 20mm and 15mm Roses that I have sparkled up with stardust, and I have added some Flat Pearls...

I still have not worked out my camera so sorry for the pants pictures, I so wish I could understand stuff like this, Have a great weekend and thank you for looking today, big hugs love Pops x x x

It's Cupcake Time!!

Hello, everyone, and a very happy day to you during this busiest of seasons!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by and we hope to see you again real soon. We love showing you what we have done with the magnificent products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop, which will be closed until Wednesday, January 2. So save some of that Christmas money and you can shop til you drop after that date!!!

I decorated three little papier mache cupcake boxes using lots of products from Wild Orchid Crafts added to some plain and simple very small papier mache cupcake boxes. They only measure about 3 1/2" (8.5cm) tall but I could play with lots of my favorite flowers....smile!!!! This is just another way to use all of those wonderful things from the shop to make something so simple into something kinda feminine and cute!!!

Have a delightful day and a wonderful holiday season, enjoying each and every moment!! Hugs from Jacque

Got Cocoa?

Hi there everyone.
Here's a Christmas card I made a couple weeks ago. I really love it. The little silver bells are so sweet and they really make a little noise. I used my new pointsettia blooms. I love how I can use the Wild Orchid Crafts pearl brads in the center and always make them a little different.

Have a lovely day!

Hugs, Mindy
