Pink Roses and Green Tulips!!

Howdy! I know some of you already saw this on my blog, but I thought I would show you again how pretty the NEW Mixed Green Tone Tulips and Rose Pink Trellis Roses go together!  The Rose Pink is in the Vintage Color Range on the  Wild Orchid Crafts site.
Pretty combo huh?  This is what the Green Combo package looks like:

I used the brighter ones in the middle.

I also used the white Sweetheart Blossoms, 15mm Lt. Lime Green Open Rose and Self Adhesive Pearls to finish it off.

You gotta love how all the colors coordinate at Wild Orchid Crafts!

Happy shopping!

Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle

Hi there! It is Kylie here to share with you are project.

Ohhh - Christmas is getting closer! Just three months to go! The current Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge  is to "Make it Sparkle with Stars" so I thought I'd make a little candle holder decoration.

What a great opportunity to break out the German Glitter Glass. OMG. I am in love with this stuff. I've used two types on my candle holder - 100 grit and 80 grit.  I recycled an olive jar and when clean, dipped the rim in glue and then Silver German Glitter Glass 80 Grit. It gives a pretty sparkly result doesn't it?  Then I've used some of the stunning Lavendar German Glitter Glass in 100 Grit on the star. It is stuck in place with Glossy Accents. It is just perfect for German Glitter Glass.

Also used on my candle holder are:
Lace

I hope my candle holder inspired you to get started on your Christmas crafts and try some Glitter!

Sparkles and Stars!!

Happy Monday and welcome!! We are so happy that you have come by today! I would like to show you the card I made for the Wild Orchid Challenge which begins today and the theme is Make It Sparkle With Stars! We would love to have you join with us this fortnight.

For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the DP is Kaisercraft December 25th, and all background panels are machine stitched. This DP has alot of metallic gold and reminds me of Olde World so I tried to carry that look throughout my card. The sweet image I used is from the latest LOTV release and is called Musical Christmas. The image was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics and Promarkers adding a touch of Prisma Glitter to the wings and gorgeous WOC Gold German Glass Glitter to the wreaths on their heads. Don't you just love that glittery sparkle of the German Glass Glitter!!! I encircled the image with German tinsel and for the horizontal I used 1" Cream Organza Ribbon tied into a double bow, adding a star button. The floral treatment resting on MS branches is made of a 35mm Trellis Rose and 25mm Open Roses which were all covered heavily with more WOC Gold German Glass Glitter. I also added some Gold Double End Holly Berries and finished the front with a couple of Gold Filigree Metal Corners.

For the inside of my card I used some stars from the Christmas Wooden Shape Embellishment Set and covered them heavily with more German Glass Glitter and another organza bow. I think that German Glass Glitter gave those stars a very old look...what do you think? The gold embossed sentiment is from the LOTV Set 10-A5 Verses.

Again, thanks for your visit and we hope to see you again real soon!! Hugs from Jacque!

Someone Special

Hi there, I have an autumnal card to share today.  These are colours I tend to shy away from but was really pleased with how the chocolate brown set off the peach on the card.

Hi there!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Yesterday I was at a live crop with a bunch of inspiring ladies! We were making cards and layouts for thirteen hours, a fantastic day!

Today I want to show you a little candy jar. A candy jar for someone who loves flowers. And who doesnt? ;) It's perfect to just grab and take with you when having an invitation for coffee at your friends house. Maybe make two and fill the other up with candies? :)

I have used all kinds of different roses, both different colours and different sizes, paper dolies, vintage embellishments and organza ribbon.

I hope you like it! All of the material are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts. Get your self in to the shop and look at all the goodies they have. Dont forget to read our blog with new inspiration every day and our challenge blog with new challenges every second monday.

I made a little Keepsake Box because it looks like she is sitting on one! haha!  This was really easy to make.  The instructions can be found HERE!  This little cutie stamp is a new one from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design by Sylvia Zet called "Hope".

The inside  of the box looks like so:

What a sweet box to house fun blog friend gifts!!!

Now a closer look at the darling new Lilies from Wild Orchid Crafts! Aren't they soooo pretty!? I can see using these a ton!!!!!!  I don't see them on the site yet, but I'm sure they will be there soon.

Here is another view of the box with the new Lilies.

Topiary Frame

Hi Everyone, it is Kylie here today to share a project with you.

I have had this shaddow box frame in my stash for a little while waiting for me to do this project.  I am slowly crossing things off my 'must make' list.
I wanted to make this frame for a little friend of mine who has just had her 7th birthday. She is a very girly girl and I wanted to make something pink and blingy for her... a perfect excuse to get out the gorgeous German Glass Glitter.

I have a gorgeous pot of the Silver glitter and I thought it would be fun to embellish the gorgeous roses with for some extra sparkle. I checked out all of my adhesives and ended up using my Glossy Accents as it was nice and runny. I didn't want the glue to be too thick.

All I did was squeeze a small amount around the edges of the petals of my Wild Roses and then dipped the roses into the glitter in my tidy tray. This way I could save all of the loose unused glitter and return it to the pot for next time.

The flowers and other embellishments used for this project are listed below...

German Glitter Glass - Silver (perfect for all of your Christmas projects!), Ivory Insertion Lace, White Cotton LaceSilver Filigree Corners, Seam Binding in Rose Petal, Small Flat Gardenia in 2 tone Pink25mm Wild Roses in pinkPink Tulips, 6mm closed rose buds in White.

I hope you like my frame and it inspires you to have a bit of a play with your German Glass Glitter.

Have a great weekened,
Kylie.

Christmas box.

Hi there....today I like to show a Christmas box with beautiful embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts.
You need a empty box ...I've used an empty matchbox.
I have used brown German glass glitter 80 grit inside the box and on chipboard heart.
Paint some Crackle paint picket fence on the heart and inside the box.
Distress the flowers with distress ink pad Aged mahogany.
Paint some dabber snow cap on the heart before the crackle paint...It's looks like snow :o))
